Cell stage

You start with a default cell creature which isn’t much more than a wiggling blob with eyes and a mouth. If you want to make this easy then choose both a herbivore mouth and an carnivore one. Plants are easy to eat and the other creatures around you are hard to kill and consume, even so you don't want to miss out on an opportunity.

Animal stage

Once your creature is ready it will grow legs (you can provide them to your creature) and it will jump on land. Your creature will make a nest and you can start making friends with all the other creatures around you. It is still easier to be a herbivore or omnivore as fruit doesn’t fight back when you try to eat it! At this stage you can pick up creature-parts and modify your creature to your liking.

Tribal stage

This is where things started to go wrong for me. In the animal stage you get pushed to make friends with your neighbors but in the tribal stage this is no longer the case. You basically have to fight against three other tribes, once you win you advance to the next stage.

Civilization stage

I got to this stage, tried it for 30 minutes and restarted the game.

Space stage

Never played this stage.
